MAKING AN APPOINTMENT

1. Inquiry

- theme of the tattoo

- preferred style / color scheme,

- size of the design,

- placement on the body,

- verbal description of your idea (the project will never be based on a photo of another tattoo, only general style and presented objects will be considered if referring to photos of tattoos done by other artists)

In response, you wil receive information about available appointment dates and a price estimate. All price quotes are NON-NEGOTIABLE. If you have a limited budget, include it in your inquiry and you will be informed of what is possible within it.

The final exact price wil be stated after the design, size and placement are confirmed, right before the session.

Price is a cost of tattooing a specified design, there is no hourly rate.

2. Appointment planning

The process of tattooing is tiring to hte body. When planning an appointment, make sure you will come rested, have something ot eat and are not suffering from any kind of aftermath from previous days. Coming in sick or feeling unwell may result in serious complications during the tattooing or even inability to proceed with the session.

Plan also for the time after the session. You may be tired and you will have a fresh tattoo to care for. You will need to change the foil and wash the tattoo several times a day and prevent any contamination or increased sweating. Going on the next day on a vacation where your tattoo will be exposed to sun and water or going to work not in a clean environment, without the ability to regularly clean the tattoo are not advised.

If you fail to follow the healing instructions due to poor planning on your behalf - we will not take responsibility for any complications or damage to the tattoo.

3. Cover up tattoos

For all cover up or refreshment tattoos, it is necessary to schedule a consultation before making an appointment. This will help determine the scope of the work and advise a specific style and artist. Failing to inform about cover up will result in cancellation of the appointment.

4. Deposit

Before the appointment is booked, you will be asked to pay a deposit in amount of up to 30% of the session price. The deposit is deducted from the session price when you show up for your appointment. You can pay the deposit in person in the studio or transfer it to provided bank account. Think carefully before you commit to making an appointment - the deposit is non-refundable (deposit is not an advance payment).

Only after the deposit is booked on the account or in the studio, the appointment is booked in the calendar.

5. Postponing appointment

The appointment date can only be postponed at least 7 days in advance. In that case your deposit will be carried over. After that time however, the deposit will be considered expired and you will need to pay another deposit to book the new appointment.

This time point does not apply to deposits for multiple day sessions booked on consecutive days - these are non-refundable.

In case of an unexpected illness within less than 7 days before the session, the appointment can be rescheduled and the deposit carried over only if an official, medical leave note will be presented.

The deposit is refundable only in case of appointment cancellation by the studio.

6. Session

The term "session" is defined as the time devoted to work on a single customer, ie: preparing the design and stencil, workstation preparation, tattooing, dressing the tattoo and possible breaks. The session does NOT consist of just the tattooing process.

Various aspects influence the duration of the session - skin condition, bleeding, anatomy. Sessions are not timed and a full day session may take anywhere between 5 to 7 hours to finish.

7. Design

The visualization of the project will be presented on the day of the session. If there is something you would like to change in the project, you can improve it together with the artist in the studio. The design prepared is only an indication of what the final creation on the skin will look like.

8. Age requirement

Minimum age of 17 years is required to sign up for the appointment. People who are 17 years old and want to make an appointment must come ot the session with one of the parents, and both of the parents must sign the consent form beforehand.

It is not possible to tattoo people under the age of 17 even with the consent of the parent / guardian.

9. Contraindications

Contraindication to tattooing are: skin or infectious diseases, allergies, pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you are affected by any of these or are taking blood thinning medication - inform us about it for your own safety.

10. Skin tan

Tattooing will not be undertaken if you come to the session with very tanned skin. You will be given the next available date and you will be asked to pay another deposit. A tan damages the skin, making tattooing impossible.

DURING THE SESSION

11. Accompanying the customer

Only the tattooed customer can be present in the artist’s workspace throughout the duration of the whole session. Since the process requires a lot of focus from the artist, no friends or family are allowed to accompany the customer during that time.

12. Design confirmation

You will be asked to confirm the project in various stages of development - digital design, stencil on the skin, tattoo before and after finishing touches. This is crucial to your overall satisfaction - any unplanned changes requested after confirming the project and placement may not be possible or may be subject to additional fees. Any changes requested after the session outside of regular touch ups will be considered a new paid appointment.

13. Pain and complications

Tattoos are not painless and may even cause a shock to your body. The staff is prepared to react appropriately and provide first aid should you loose consciousness or feel unwell, however if you cannot take the pain or your health is in danger - the session will not continue. You wil still be charged for the amount of work done, but no less than half of the appointment fee, and finishing the design will have to be booked as another paid session (some exceptions may apply) so make sure you are aware of what you are signing up for.

AFTER THE SESSION

14. Bodily reactions

Each organism is different and we are not able to predict 100% how your body will react after the session. This applies to ink allergies, spilling of pigment under the skin due to blood flow, bruising, swelling or inflammation within and around the tattooed area.

15. Healing process

The customer is solely responsible for any negligence during the healing process. Each customer receives a set of instructions on how to care for a tattoo, which must be followed. If you fail to follow the instructions for any reason, we will not take responsibility for any complications or damage to the tattooed area and it will not qualify for free touch up.

Feel free however, to contact us with any questions regarding healing process after the session. In case of unexpected complications, inform us immediately.

16. Touch ups

Eventual touch ups required due to natural circumstances are free of charge within 2 months from the date of appointment. If you report any after this time, correction will be subject to a fee.
